Overview
The AI Competency Assessment & Upskilling Initiative enables organizations to build enterprise-wide AI capability by assessing workforce readiness, identifying competency gaps, and delivering targeted development pathways. Grounded in ASB's AI Competency Framework, the initiative helps organizations adopt AI responsibly, improve productivity, accelerate digital transformation, and strengthen leadership capability while managing AI-related risks.
The initiative begins with an online AI Competency Assessment that evaluates employees across five core competency domains - AI-Human@Work, GenAI@Productivity, AI@Digital Transformation, AI@Leadership, and AI@Ethics & Governance - supported by Data Literacy and five progressive proficiency levels: Aware, Apply, Adapt, Architect, and Advocate. Assessment results provide a personalized competency profile and tailored learning pathway for each participant.
Participants then undertake targeted upskilling through ASB's AI learning programs, delivered either online or in person, followed by a six-month AI Clinic where they receive practical coaching and guidance to apply AI solutions to real workplace challenges. This structured assess–upskill–practice approach ensures learning translates into measurable business outcomes and sustainable capability development.
